Privacy & Cookies

Last updated: 7 September 2026

This site is a small portfolio and information site. It has no forms, no accounts, no newsletter and no analytics, and it sets no cookies of its own. This notice explains the little personal data that is involved anyway, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

ZEDIA LIMITED is the data controller for this website.

  • Registered in England and Wales, company number 04840592
  • Registered office: 554 Rayners Lane, Pinner, London HA5 5DJ, United Kingdom
  • Email: info@zedia.org.uk
What we collect, and why

Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records technical details of each request: your IP address, the browser and operating system you are using, the page requested, the page you came from and the date and time. We do not use these logs to build any profile of you or to track you between visits. They exist so the site can be kept running and secure. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, namely operating and protecting the site.

Anything you email us. If you write to info@zedia.org.uk, we hold your message and your email address so we can reply. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, or, where the enquiry is about engaging us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for marketing, and we do not use it for any automated decision-making or profiling.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets no cookies of its own, uses no analytics or advertising technology, and loads nothing from any third party as you browse. There is nothing here that tracks you, and so there is nothing for you to accept or refuse.

The map on our Contact page is a plain drawing held on our own server, not an embedded service. Nothing on this site is loaded from anyone else.

Who your information reaches

Only two: our hosting provider, which keeps the server logs on our instructions, and our email provider, which carries correspondence. We share your information with nobody else. Either provider may operate outside the United Kingdom, which means your data may be transferred abroad under the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept only as long as they are useful for security and troubleshooting, and are then deleted by our hosting provider. Correspondence is kept only while it is needed to deal with the enquiry, and is deleted once it is not.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to have our use of it restricted, to receive it in a portable form, and to object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these, email info@zedia.org.uk. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your personal data badly, please tell us first at info@zedia.org.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receiving it, look into it, and tell you the outcome.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not have to come to us first.

Changes to this notice

If we change how the site works, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
